MSU seeks to ensure all advertising and external marketing materials meet quality standards and follow brand guidelines. This includes print advertising, digital ads and graphics, radio and television ads, billboards, magazines (pre-publication proofs), webpages, e-newsletters and other promotional materials.

Review Request Form

For example, communications targeting external audiences, including magazines, brochures, flyers, invitations, student recruitment materials, posters, conference brochures, and programs, are to be submitted to MSU’s Office of Public Affairs for review at the final proof stage.

Please work through your area’s lead communications representative for submissions. Items may be submitted via the above Review Request Form button. If you’re unsure of your communications representative, contact MSU’s Office of Public Affairs, or OPA, at 662-325-0442.

OPA will respond with approvals or requests for more information within 2-5 business days for small projects (invitations, fliers), 5-7 business days for larger projects (multi-page booklets, annual reports) or 10-14 business days for special projects (magazines, catalogs).

This submission requirement does NOT apply to scholarly nor research work of faculty/staff, including academic articles, books, research project updates nor other scholarly writings. It also does not apply to presentations.
